The Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt has struck out an appeal filed by Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited challenging the judgment of the Federal High Court which awarded the sum of 5.5 billion Naira to two Ogoni citizens for the pollution of their farmlands by oil spill in 2000.
