Ogoni Professionals in the Diaspora Raise Concerns Over the Safety of the MOSOP President, Fegalo Nsuke

The attention of the Council of Ogoni Professionals (COP-USA) has been drawn to a plot against the life of the MOSOP president, Fegalo Nsuke, by some individuals including Lazarus Tamana, Bob Maxwell Bakor, Solomon Lah and others

Our investigations further confirm a connivance with the Nigerian Police to hurt the MOSOP President and some other members of the leadership of MOSOP.

 

COP-USA wishes to state that it is strongly concerned about the safety of the MOSOP President, Fegalo Nsuke, and every other Ogoni facing threats from these sponsored groups.

 

COP-USA will hold Mr Lazarus Tamana, Bob Maxwell, Solomon Lah and their collaborators responsible for any hurt or harm done to the president of MOSOP or any other member of the MOSOP leadership.

 

We are aware that this same group of perons have connived to take the MOSOP president to court over elections. The matter is currently before the Court of Appeal. It is our concern that a matter before the Court of Appeal will be brought to the Police by the same parties to the suit who have been properly served and from the records made available tous, have also filed a response to the processes.

 

The Council of Ogoni Professionals will be closely watching the happenings in Ogoni and will take appropriate steps against any harm done to Mr Nsuke  or any member of MOSOP.
